Me and Oh My England Vacation!

I always want to have new experiences and develop my speaking and listening skill in English and going to a foreign country is the right thing to do. United Kingdom is the perfect place to be. So, I did. Last summer, I went to England for a short-term Exchange Student Program for one month.

UK or England is in Europe. It is very far from Thailand. It took me about 12 - 13 hours travel by plane going there. It was tiring but I enjoyed it. This country is known for its many beautiful places. In London, there  are London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and many others.

While in UK, I stayed with a host family in Wolverhampton. It is a big city but is very far from London (the capital city of England). The city looks like Phitsanulok in Thailand. My host family is kind and friendly.

Everyday, in the morning, I had to study and did many activities in the University of Wolverhampton and in the afternoon, I had free time so I can go anywhere. I really liked it. One day, I went to Birmingham, a place near Wolverhampton. It took only half an hour going there. The place is nice. It has a big shopping mall named Bulling Centre  which I really liked. I bought some stuffs from there. There was this one time that I went to Dudley, a place 15 minute-ride away from Wolverhampton. In my brief stay in that city, there were  many exciting things that happened, the most wonderful was when my friends and I went to London by ourselves. We went there by train. I learned to buy ticket by myself and learned to ride on the right train.

In London, I had the best time of my life. My friends and I visited Big Ben, London Eye, and crossed the Tower Bridge by walking. It wasn't far but we lost the way so we had to ask for directions from the people around. I thought, it was a good thing we got lost. We got to talk with British people and got to develop my speaking skill.

England is a great country. I really miss my friends and my host family back there. So, if ever I will have another opportunity, I will surely go back and visit England again.

Let us get to know some of the EP students in our school. They are just few of the stars who make up the CHS-EP constellation. Here we go.

Belle, The Linguist

My name is Tarnkamol Wangtrakuldee. My nickname is Belle. I am turning 15 this year. I was born on 7th of  February 1997. I live in Phitsanulok and I am studying at Chalermkwansatree School as an EP student. I have three younger siblings and I am the eldest.

One thing that is very important for my lifestyle is to do what I love. I think it's thew best for living. I like listening to music, watching TV and feeding my dogs or playing with them. I love "songs" very much. I love K - Pop! Oh, I have another hobby, it's to watch out for good-looking boys and girls. I don't like insects. I hate people who bad things. In school, I like to study languages. This year, I am studying four languages - Thai, English, Chinese and a little of Japanese. I don't like P.E because I am very clumsy. I usually hurt myself and I can't control my body.

I want to be a businesswoman in the future because it will give me an opportunity to use many languages while dealing with customers and it can make me earn a lot of money, too.

First, An Aspiring Doctor

My name is Pattaragan. My nickname is First. I will turn 15 on June 18 this year. I live in Phitsanulok and Pichit but I usually stay in Phitsanulok. I am a third year student in CHS English Program. I am the only child of my parents so I have to do everything great for them.

I like to read philosophy books and listen to beautiful music.  I dislike the crawling animals such as snakes and lizards.  My hobbies include traveling with my family and listening to music. Right now, I am very much interested in the American boy-band "Big Time Rush". The members are very good singers and actors. Their TV series is very fun too. I watch it always.

I want to be a doctor. It is my greatest ambition because nowadays, there are a lot of poor people who need medical attention. I want to help them. I also want to treat my mother who has a cancer. If I become a doctor I can help my mother and all the others who need help. 

Pupae, The Future Lawyer

My name is Pornpawee. My nickname is Pupae. My friends usually call me Pae. I'm 14 and I will turn 15 on November 4. I live in Phitsanulok. I am a third year high school student in this school.

I like games, cartoons, and novels very much. Sometimes, I write some stories too. I like to read comics and novels but I hate reading study books. My hobbies are watching movies, sketching cartoons and reading entertainment books or sometimes, playing games.

My ambition is to be a lawyer. I think that this job will make a lot of money so I 'll be richer and I'll be able to buy anything I want. I heard that some lawyers are being paid 800 baht  for working only two or three hours a day. I like to have a job like that.
